What To Expect During And After The Audition Process.

Phase 1: "Submit Audition"
When an applicant submits their audition through the website, they will enter Phase One. In this phase, auditions will be analyzed based on skill level and attention to detail.
Applicants will then receive an email regarding their results.

Phase 2: Basic Interview Questionnaire
Once notified of their results, applicants who pass will move to Phase Two and will be sent a written interview. There are no right or wrong answers in this interview. Once completed and submitted, applicants will automatically move on to Phase Three.

Phase 3: Detailed Interview
Phase Three is another written interview. Like in Phase Two, there are no right or wrong answers.
Applicants will be presented with a small number of scenarios, each representing possible situations that could occur either within the group or the industry.
In their responses, applicants should break down each scenario, explain how the situation would make them feel, how it might affect them, and how they would potentially work through or around it if necessary.

Phase 4: Training & Regulations
Once Phase Three is completed, applicants will receive an outline of the group’s training regimen along with its regulations.
This is an extremely important part of the audition process, as we want all applicants to be fully informed about how the group operates. This ensures there are no surprises and that all potential trainees understand the sacrifices that may be required, the level of work ethic expected, and the rules that must be followed to reach debut within the group.

Phase 5: The Finale
Once the Phase Three interview is complete and the Phase Four “I accept the terms” box is checked, applicants will automatically move on to the final phase of the audition process.
In this phase, applicants will receive instructions on how to submit their final auditions. Judges may also include an optional request based on curiosity. This additional request is not mandatory and will not negatively impact the applicant’s results if skipped- but completing it may be beneficial.
Example: Sending in a short clip of themselves singing a specifically requested song, or trying out another audition category in addition to their final audition.

Phase 6: Welcome
As applicants finish the audition process—or once auditions close (if more time is needed for decisions)-
all audition results will be sent out. Each applicant selected to join IXU as a potential trainee will be notified of their acceptance via email.

In Phase 6, we work together but it is up to each potential trainee to determine their standing in the final group.
Please note that trainees will be kept separate during the early weeks of training to focus on their training.

Week 2
In Week 2, trainees will each be sent an individual bootcamp checklist to complete. This checklist must be filled out and returned by the end of the week. (Due dates are important.)

Week 3
Trainees will begin their at-home training to prepare for the first evaluation. (This initial evaluation will be more relaxed, as we understand that adjusting personal schedules to fit our training regimen may initially affect performance due to fatigue.)

Week 4

Trainees will continue with at-home training.

Week 5
At the end of Week 5, trainees will be tasked with completing a self-evaluation. This will include:

  • How they are feeling

  • Any struggles they experienced during training

  • What they believe they’ve achieved in the short time frame

  • A short video of themselves practicing their skills

  • Etc.
